Location: 1034 Bethel Ave, Port Orchard, WA 98366
End Client: Family Pancake House
Completion: May 2025
Family Pancake House has been serving comfort food to Washington families for decades, becoming a gathering place where generations return again and again. When it came time to refresh their Port Orchard location, the goal was to preserve the cozy, familiar feel guests have always loved while introducing updated finishes and seating built to last. With a long-standing relationship already in place, they turned to QA Group to bring that vision to life.
As part of a full remodel, the project focused on replacing existing seating with a mix of Rainier-style booths. Because Family Pancake House needed to keep its doors open for daily regulars, QA Group adapted to a tight timeframe and unique install hours to minimize disruption. The booths were upholstered in a curated selection of fabrics, with a deep purple vinyl playing a standout role in bringing vibrancy and warmth to the space. High backs, cushioned seats, and thoughtful detailing ensured the new seating maintained the comfort and welcoming atmosphere diners expect.
Jeff Becraft, Owner of Family Pancake House, noted that the new booths captured the exact look his team envisioned while honoring the spirit of the original restaurant. The refreshed seating elevated the dining room without losing its familiar charm, and the comfort and quality stood out immediately to staff and regular customers alike.
QA Group is already at work on another Family Pancake House location, a project that brings back a sense of déjà vu with the same colors and vinyls bringing another memorable return.
