Hotel Renegade brings a bold, contemporary spirit to downtown Boise, blending elevated hospitality with a distinctly modern design. A key part of the guest experience was the integration of statement seating in its public spaces – from the lively restaurant to the refined eighth-floor bar – each area requiring furnishings that balanced comfort, durability, and visual impact. QA Group partnered with Pacific Cabinets to deliver a range of custom banquettes and upholstered elements that now define the hotel’s interiors.
The project featured multiple seating zones across the property. In the main restaurant, a series of half-moon banquettes were produced, each with sculpted seats and backs enhanced by a line of decorative buttons. In the lobby, QA Group created a sweeping serpentine banquette spanning more than 95 feet, paired with tailored bay window seating to maximize both function and atmosphere.
The highlight of the project is found at the Level 8 bar, where a dramatic U-shaped banquette measuring over 25 feet anchors the private tasting room. Plush channel backs and diamond-tufted detailing create a lounge environment that feels both luxurious and inviting. Additional custom touches, including leather-wrapped panels at the host stand and reception desk, extend the sense of refinement throughout the hotel.
To ensure seamless execution, QA Group developed renderings, shop drawings, and CNC files prior to fabrication. All seating was designed with field installation in mind, arriving crated and site-ready. Foam densities were carefully matched to each use case – firm support in the restaurant and lobby, softer cores in the lounge – to balance durability with comfort. The result is a hotel environment elevated by seating that is as functional as it is striking.
